Hi Everyone
Not really a roll-up of course but rather the results from the Colin Pedley, the last competition of the 2018-season.
Just the one reminder this week, obviously for the AGM.
- The agenda is now on the website and the notice-board along with the one proposal received prior to the closing date [30th November].
Sustenance in the form of a pre-AGM lunch will be available at a cost of £8, but please note: unlike with the Pedley this will be optional meaning that if you wish to take advantage either let me know in advance via Email or by using a sign-up sheet that will be in the clubhouse on the day – in either event, payment must be made to the clubhouse BEFORE starting your round.
Moving on; no BoB this week as we had ‘on-course’ prizes to titillate you instead, the full results for the day being:

Colin Pedley Trophy | |||
Position | Name | H’cap | Score |
First | Dave Wanless | 19.0 | 41 |
Second | Jerry Senior | 14.0 | 36 c/b |
Third | Jeff Dixon | 29.0 | 36 c/b |
Fourth | Peter Metcalfe | 22.0 | 34 c/b |
On-course: Nearest-the-pin: Chris Smyth
Nearest-the-pin in two: David Stroud
Longest drive: Brian Reid
Particular congratulations to this week’s winners given that it was a ‘biggy’.
When you return in the New Year you will have a Texas Scramble to ease you into 2019. In the meantime I’m hoping to get one final newsletter out to provide some Yuletide reading, but ‘just in case’ a very Merry Christmas to one and all.
